Alana was born in Long Beach, California, on February 21, 1989. She started playing the banjo at eight years old on January 13, 1998. Alana's music hero is Donnie Little, who she draws most of her inspiration from. She is now a junior in the Political Science program at Belmont Abbey College. Alana works part-time at the law firm of Kemp A. Michael and Brooke E. Shepherd Lopez in Mount Holly, NC.  She now has her own online talk show on WBT.com, which you can listen to at http://wbt.com/page.cfm;jsessionid=2a30218ec6ddfb90ba53176237749362a541?ID=83.

Hannah

Hannah, A.K.A "Hurricane Hannah", lives up to her nickname. She was born on February 26,1995, in Orange, CA. Hannah has been playing the fiddle since she was five years old. One of her favorite pastimes is reading, and of course, she loves playing her fiddle and performing! Her favorite song is, "Kentucky Waltz", and her favorite book is "Gone With the Wind."

Dillon

Dillon was born on July 11, 1998, and started playing the mandolin at age 4. He immediately exhibited a talent for keeping rhythm, and his lead instrumentals especially highlight the band's shows. The band's favorite instrumental that he is featured on is "Rawhide", and the crowd seems to favor that one as well. He is an upcoming musician on the bluegrass scene, and will continue to amaze bluegrass fans.

Donnie

Donnie Little, versatile musician and vocalist as well for The Flowers Family Band, is veteran of bluegrass music. He is the rhythm guitarist for the group, and is sometimes featured on the banjo. "Music has always been a part of our family's history. My grandparents on both sides of the family played music. My dad played the mandolin and guitar in different groups when I was very small. The first thing I remember was begging for a banjo. I got my first banjo on my fifth birthday on Christmas Day of 1964, and that is when my dad started teaching me how to play music." He has been a part of the group since they began performing together in 2001.

Joel

Joel Little is a expert bluegrass musician, having started the fiddle at seven years old. His favorite competition song is "Orange Blossom Special." Joel's fiddle cassette, Memories and Dreams, has many of his favorite tunes on it, as well as The Little Family bluegrass CD. He also plays the mandolin and guitar, and sings lead in The Little Family Bluegrass Band. Joel has taught fiddle for forty years, and has taught both Hannah and Dillon Flowers. Joel has been a member of the band since 2001, and is a twin fiddler along with Hannah.

Phil

Phil Bentley became a part of The Flowers Family Band in 2004. He has been performing music for over 40 years, and is a versatile musician; he also plays guitar and banjo, as well as other instruments. One of the band's favorite songs that his vocals is featured on is "Precious Jewel", and Phil also sings harmony with the band. He now plays bass for the group and his featured performances highlight the FFB's shows.
